Well this commission took longer then it probbably should have. But it's here, the Animal Themed Yasei Sentai WildRanger. Now, for clarification, the commissioner only specified this team with an animal theme. However, given the descriptions for most of the weapons, it was hard not to assosiate a monk/martial arts theme (mostly with Red and Indigo. Red uses a Monk's Spade, while indigo uses a Bō Staff). As such, there's sort of a robe aethstetic in the core design (which I heavily exadurated for the sixth and seventh Rangers). Other then that, the suits also took insparations from Gaoranger and Dekaranger.

The animal choices here are...interesting. None of the usual Animal-Sentai Standards, save for the Bears, the Tiger, and the Dragon. I persionally imagine this starting off as a Three Man Team (red, blue, pink), getting two additional members (black, white), and then getting the sixth and seventh raangers (silver and gold). 

The core team all use wrist based morphers that take little fangs in as the collectable gimmicks (even though only two animals of the core team have fangs, but whatever). Indigo and Gold both have their own version of a staff changer, serving as their morpher and primary weapon. The core team also have weapons that combine into a large sword thing. Oh, and in case you're curious, the belt logo is a W on top of a Y. 

Fun fact, there were origionally going to be six Rangers. But I accidentally started the Sixth Ranger deisgn on a male template (it was a long day, I forget small details like that sometimes). So I decided to create this Seventh Ranger. And you'll notice a Yin-Yang motif between Indigo and Gold. My thought process was that whenever I see animals assosiated with that symbole, it's always a Tiger and a Dragon, usually on opposing sides. So I played with that a bit here, not only giving them the yin-yang mark, but also giving them matching color schemes. Gold has dark-indgigoi accents, and Indigo has off-gold accents. Themeing.

So...yeah. Not much else I have to say on that front.
