So remember awhile ago when I said I wanted to do more Original Sentai? Well, around that time I had a concept for Time Traveling team Consisting of Five Rangers. But there was a problem...I couldn't come up with a good Suit Design to save my life. That's where Sentaibrave came into the picture. Any of you who watch him should know that he makes some pretty damn good Sentai Concepts (some better then others, but he averages at 'really good'). So I decided to ask him to help me come up with a suit concept. He ended up liking the concept so much, that he went above and beyond and came up with pretty much everything (weapons, mecha, even a backstory); and even a gimmick involving his other Sentai designs. So one thing led to another, and now Jikan Sentai ChronoRanger is what I assume to be a "shared property" between the two of us. And I'm pretty happy with how the designs came out. Originally, I wanted the team to have a Showa-Era Sentai feel to them; with a general clockwork theme and an emblem resembling an Hourglass. Sentaibrave went with a sleek, minimalist design that emphasized arrows (like clock hands, which I actually like more. Though I was able to keep the Boot/Glove cuffs as cogs, which makes me happy.

Now if you look at Sentaibrave's Chronoranger pictures, you'll notice a few...differences. Specifically with Gold and Platinum. Platinum's number was changed from the roman numeral for '4', to a stylized zero logo utilizing the already existing Chronoranger Emblem. I also gave him a very slight tint of blue in order to help the Platinum bits stick out from the white and silver (I was going to replace the silver with gold, and the white with a deep blue, but I decided against it). Chrono Gold got some extra black thrown into his design to help break up all the wight, his chest plate got a very slight redesign, and his Roman Numeral five was replaced with a Roman Numeral ten; which I stylized to resemble an hourglass (had to fit it in somewhere). Then there are the Core Team's Super Mode, the Chrono Knights, where they (one at a time) fuse with Chrono Gold. I edited the helmets just a bit to give them a more unique feel.

Then there are the weapons, which all have three modes. First is the Time Calibur, used by Red Blue and Yellow, which is part sword, part gun and part Tonfa (it doesn't transform like the others). Next is Chrono Platinum's 365-Blade. Above I made it in a 'Storage Mode' and the Spear Mode (my personal favorite), but it also has a Dual Sword Mode and a Boomerang Mode. And Finally there is Chrono Gold's Weapon (which can be used by the core team while their fused with him), the ChronoCalibur. The Chrono Calibur can change between Clock Mode, Sword-&-Shield mode, and Axe Mode (I really like the axe mode).

I'll be doing a Civilian Picture for these guys (as Sentaibrave wanted me to make backstories for them), and I may even throw in my own ChronoRangers at some point (I did have an idea for a green one). So look forward to that.
