"Shikon" roughly translates to fang, while "Kyoku" refers to a piece of music or a tune. So, in my mind, the name roughly translates to "Fang Squadron Tune-Ranger".

"With Superb Intellect! Symphony of the Forrest!  Kyoku Green!"
"With Spectacular Bravery
! Solo of the Arctic! Kyoku White! On Stage!"

(For whoever is curious, White's animal is an Arctic Wolf, and Green's is a Gorilla).

Well, we've seen the Core Team, as well as their Alternate forms. So now it's time for our two additional heroes! Kyoku White and Kyoku Green. As I mentioned in the first Kyokuger picture (link is below, as usual), there are Five Tribes in Total.

- The Green Tribe, Vindal, follows the philosophy that tactics and intelligence are superior on the battle filed, and consider themselves the "leaders" in their relations with the Red, Blue and Yellow Tribes. They specialize in Wind Instruments, and are associated with animals that live in tropical forests.
- The White Tribe, Tunzar, doesn't have any particular specialty. They use whatever they feel the situation calls for, which led them to abandoning the old ways, causing their excommunication from the Tribe Alliance. Their animals are those who live in extremely clod climates, and specialize in String instruments. Or at least they did until they abandoned the old ways for something they thought was more effective...ROCK AND ROLL!...So now they use pretty much everything. Most prominently, the electric guitar.

Now, you've probably noticed that green is much different from Red, Blue and Yellow. This iteration of Kyoku Green is actually the Cheif of the Green Tribe, and thus uses a different transformation device: The Shikon Baton Changer. A conductor's Baton that can become a rapier weapon when needed. It works identically to the
Shikon Tuning Blade in that the three buttons work the same (Red is for Henshin, Yellow is to Summon Mecha, and Blue is for the attack). The only difference is that instead of tapping it against something, the user draws a triangle in the air. Every Tribe has one Baton Changer reserved for use by the chief of the tribe (so the red tribe leader would share the white/gold accents and shoulder pads). The Cheif Kyokugers are about as powerful as the Core Team's Super Modes. Green's weapon is a Flute that turns into a spear.

Now for White (who I consider the actual "sixth Ranger" of the team), he is designed to resemble the Core Team's Trinity modes. In my mind, the Trinity Mode was an upgrade made by the white tribe as a "peace offering" to try and get back into the alliance. Unlike the Trinity Modes, he still only uses one animal form at a time, indicated by the stylized line art featured on his chest. I used Geometric shapes in order to give a simplistic ice sculpture look, which I think came out pretty well. Anyways, White's only Weapon is also his transformation Device: the Guita-Slasher. It's an electric guitar that transforms into a sword, because reasons. Like with the other Changers, the Red Button Transforms, the Blue Button activates the attack, and the yellow button summons his mecha. The Transformation and Summoning functions can only be used in the Guitar Mode, as they are activated by strumming it. The attack function can be used in either mode.

So with this, I'm past the half way point with Kyokuger. I'm sure you can guess what Part 4 will be.

This is part three of a five part project, links to other parts can be found bellow.
