(Attempt at) Garo, the Golden Knight

Where there is light, shadows lurk and fear reigns. But by the blade of knights, mankind was given hope.

((I apologize in advanced for any and all details I forgot/butchered/messed up. This is my first time making Garo)) 

So as some of you may know, I've recently become a pretty big fan of the Garo Series (as of this upload I've finished watching: Season 1, The Red Requiem Movie, Makai Senki, Makai no Hana, and I'm about halfway into the Anime). So it was only a matter of time before I attempted to do SOMETHING Garo related in my art. And let me be the first to tell you: making a Makai Knight's armor on Taiko's template is WAY harder then ANY Rider I've ever made. Seriously, this took FOREVER! But, I think the results turned out pretty well. Not perfect, but pretty well. As for his sword, the Garo Ken, that took me ten minuets at MOST...and I think it turned out better then the armor itself. Go figure, huh? 

Specifically, this is the Garo Armor as it appeared while in the possession of Kouga Saejima (not that it matters, the only differences that the armor has between users is the eye color...save for the Anime version and Lost Shine Garo, but those changes were temporary from what I've heard). And to be honest...I don't like Garo with green eyes. Yeah, it matches his Madou Flame, but I've never been a big fan of green and gold together (with a few exceptions), which is odd considering Green is my favorite color. But I don't know, his eyes look better when they're blue (Makai no Hana) or Red (Kouga's father) to me. I only used the Green Eyed Garo because...well, it IS technically the original, as it was used in the first season of the show. I may update this picture later to show what he looks like with the other eye colors, but that is VERY unlikely, as the only change would be the eyes.   

But regardless of any minor complements I have, Garo is easily one of my new favorite Tokusatsu shows out there (and with the way the Anime is going, it may be one of my favorite Animes as well!).

I don't know if I'll be making any more or the Knights from the series, as there isn't a lot of good reference pictures out there (from what I can find). If I did make more, I'd probably just do Zero, the White Knight with the Spear (forgot his name), and maybe Crow from Makai no Hana (not Kiba though. His design is too complex for me). Now while I may not do any more official knights, there's a pretty decent chance of me doing a Makai Knight OC at some point.
